Indications of Quality

Petiole color is associated with rhubarb quality. The order of preference is red, pink, and green. Petioles should appear fresh with no signs of desiccation or decay Whether intact or cut into sections.

Relative Humidity: 95 to 100%
Approximate Storage Life: 2-4 weeks*

Ethylene Sensitivity: Low

Storage Tips

Do not wash before storing. Gently wrap a damp HydroLiner™ around the produce.  Place in a VeggieZips™ storage produce bag, and close. Re-dampen as necessary.
